This great town was once the heart of the North, but unfortunately found itself in the hands of those who were careless and chose not to take care of it. I'm glad that our generation looks promising , there is hope for a revived kaduna, a place synonymous with home, a home for all ; irrespective of your tribe and faith.
I met Khalifa Baba-Ahmed through a mutual friend who recommended me to him as a contributing writer for Capital City Magazine, an Abuja based photo magazine. I was impressed by Khalifa's zeal, hard work and commitment to give talented , upcoming writers, photographers, models and graphic designers a platform to soar and realize their dreams.
I thought Khalifa had done the best thing ever until I received a call from him informing me about a Kaduna based Subsidiary magazine to Capital City magazine. I was ecstatic. Then he went on to propose that I become the Regional Editor. It was another level of ecstasy, I was overjoyed.
With my love for Kaduna together with the effort of the amazing team at K-city magazine, I hope that we bring you an image of Kaduna never been seen before and give the youths enough support and publicity to the rest of the world through this magazine.
I would like to thank Khalifa Baba Ahmed for transforming this idea into reality, providing a platform, giving us an opportunity and carrying us along in fulfilling each other's dreams.
